Proteins are built from amino acids and contain a fixed amount of nitrogen. By analyzing the nitrogen level it’s possible to calculate the amount of proteins based on the nitrogen-protein factor.
Analysis
NutriControl has the equipment and knowledge to determine the amount of protein with the use of the traditional Kjeldahl method and the Dumas method. With the last method we burn the sample with high temperatures, after that the levels of nitrogen is measured and the amount of proteins is calculated.
